The Loogootee Public Library is hiring!

We’re looking for a friendly, dependable Part-Time Library Clerk to join our team. If you enjoy working with people, have strong computer skills, pay attention to detail, and love being creative, we’d love to hear from you!

Position Details:
• 20–30 hours per week
• Includes two evenings (until 6:00 PM) and Saturdays (9:00 AM–1:00 PM)

Mental Health:

We’re excited to partner with the University of Southern Indiana and Good Samaritan to offer a free Mental Health & Community Resource Walk-In Clinic at the Loogootee Public Library.

Beginning Friday, September 18, the clinic will be available from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM EST, with additional clinics on October 16 and November 20. No appointment is needed, just stop by. Services are free, confidential, and open to adults ages 18 and older, regardless of background or experience.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, dealing with stress or anxiety, navigating a difficult life situation, or simply need someone to talk to, trained clinical social work students supervised by licensed professionals will be available to provide support, guidance, and referrals to additional resources if needed.
